The critical path view displays the critical path based on runtime data.  The critical path at runtime could differ from the critical path at design time.

Select a In-progress plan and click the Critical Path View button.  

The critical path view is rendered as follows based on the configured task durations. The critical path, in red, indicates the longest path taken by the workflow from Start to Finish. 

Use the Display Dates button to toggle the datetime information.
