Use this function to create and manage OAuth connections for FlowWright.

Most online services, including Facebook, Twitter, Google, LinkedIn, and Office 365, use OAuth to authenticate users before making API calls.  FlowWright provides workflow steps for making OAuth REST API calls to Oauth-enabled applications.  All OAuth connections can be created and maintained through the following UI:

On the Manage Database Connections page, select the Connections > OAuth menu option, as shown below.

The Manage OAuth Sources page is rendered as shown in the example below.

Because OAuth connection information can vary across application platforms, FlowWright has provided OAuth template files for the most common platforms. These templates are stored on the server in the following directory.

C:\FlowWright\wwwroot\OAuth Templates

The templates directory is included for reference.

You can load these templates using the import feature. This feature lets you import the necessary OAuth connection information for your application platform.

The Amazon XML OAuth Template is provided here for reference.

Select Actions to access the “Create, Edit, Remove, Copy, and Authorize” features.

Select Export to access the “XML and SQL” features.

Select Import to access the “XML” features.

Authorize OAuth Connections.

OAuth connections need to be authorized by the application platform, which grants the application permission and provides an authentication token that can be used later to authenticate.

On the Manage OAuth Sources page, select the connection in the table, then click Actions > Authorize to initiate the authorization, as shown below.

You need to authorize by providing the necessary credentials.
