You can navigate to the Administration - Dashboard Widgets menu option.
The Dashboard Widgets UI is rendered as below. The widgets are grouped and listed as a table showing display name, description, and validation status columns. Use the Search box to filter the list.
Create a Dashboard Widget.
On the Dashboard Widgets page, click the Actions - Create menu option.
The Create widget popup is rendered for configuration. You must provide the widget name, display name, and description, choose a category from the drop-down list, and provide widget type, namespace, and DLL path information. Click the Create button to add the new dashboard widget to the list. A confirmation message is displayed in the top right-end corner.
Edit a Dashboard Widget.
Select the widget from the list on the Dashboard Widgets page and click the Actions - Edit menu option.
The Update widget popup is displayed for modification. You may change the relevant details, click the Validate button to check the configuration, and click the Update button to confirm the changes.
The dashboard widgets changes are updated, and a confirmation message is displayed in the top right-end corner.
Copy a Dashboard Widget.
Select the widget from the list on the Dashboard Widgets page and click the Actions - Copy menu option.
The Copy Dashboard popup is displayed for configuration. You must provide a new name, and click the Copy button.
A copy of the dashboard widget is created, and a confirmation message is displayed in the top right-end corner.
Delete a Dashboard Widget.
Select the widget from the list on the Dashboard Widgets page and click the Actions - Remove menu option.
Click the OK button to confirm.
The dashboard is removed permanently, and a confirmation message is displayed in the top right-end corner.
Auto-detect and auto-configure dashboard widgets.
Auto-detect functionality allows the user to detect and configure dashboard widgets.
You must navigate to the Utils - Auto Detect menu option.
The Auto Detect Dashboard Widget UI is rendered below, with widgets listed for configuration (if any). If any Dashboard Widget has been removed, you may manually select it and configure it again for use. The custom Dashboard Widget is included in the application using the DLL or file directory menu option.
Select the dashboard widget and click the Manage—Configure menu option. To configure multiple widgets at once, you may choose Select All Records.
The dashboard widget is included, and a confirmation message is displayed in the top right-end corner.
Globalize a Dashboard Widget.
Globalize the dashboard widget to render the data in local languages.
You must select a widget from the list and click the Utils - Globalise menu option. You may choose the Selected Widget or All Widgets menu option.
Click the OK button.
The global resources are updated for the dashboard widget in the background.
