FlowWright's Business Intelligence (BI) AI Copilot is a conversational analytics capability that allows business users, managers, and administrators to ask natural-language questions about workflow, process, task, and operational data instead of manually creating reports or dashboards. It combines FlowWright's workflow data with an AI assistant that understands the application's context and returns meaningful business insights.
What it does.
The BI AI Copilot transforms workflow analytics from a report-driven experience into a conversational one.
Instead of navigating multiple reports, a user can simply ask questions such as:
- How many open tasks do we currently have?
- Which processes have the most active instances?
- Which department has the highest workload?
- Which processes are taking the longest to complete?
- What are the bottlenecks this week?
- Which users have the largest task backlog?
The Copilot interprets the question, understands the available FlowWright data, and generates a summarized answer.
Prerequisite:
Navigate to the Integration > AI Providers > MCP Servers menu option. Confirm that the MCP Server is configured here. Use this link for more reference.
Navigate to Status > Status > Settings > AI Copilot menu. Confirm that the MCP Server is selected from the drop-down list. Click the Test button to verify that the settings are valid. Note: The AI Copilot and MCP Server configuration is required for the Business Intelligence AI to function.
How to use.
Navigate to the Analytics - BI Copilot menu option.
The Business Intelligence AI page is rendered as shown in the image below.
The Copilot can answer questions across FlowWright operational data, including:
- Process definitions
- Process instances
- User tasks
- Completed tasks
- Form instances
- Workflow statistics
- Business activity summaries
Example questions:
- How many purchase requests are currently waiting for approval?
- Show the five longest-running process instances.
- Which processes generated the highest number of tasks this month?
