This step fetches organization Users based on the organization structure.
Inputs
- workflowUserID – id of the user
- selectOrgUserType – select user type, manager or reporting users
- varGlobalForID – variable or global to store the user ids

Let’s build and execute the “GetOrgUsersDef” example and fetch the user's (MilanD) ManagerID and the user's reporting to this person.
- Create a new process definition called “GetOrgUsersDef”
- Select the definition and click the “design” button
- Drag the "getOrgUsers, getWorfklowUserID” step from the toolbox
- Connect the steps with the Start as shown above
- Click on the “getWorfklowUserID” step to configure “Settings” properties. Provide the step name. Provide the workflow user name. Provide the variable/global to hold the userID after execution.
- The “Logging” setting configuration is necessary for documentation and also measures the workflow progress and the percent complete. This is achieved by configuring the step state and percent fields individually, as shown in the images below. Configure the “Logging” using the following properties.
- Click the first “getOrgUsers” step to configure “Settings” properties. Provide “getOrgUsers (Manager)” as the name. Provide the variable/global that contains the workflow userID from the above step. Select the user type as “Managers.” Provide the variable/global that holds the manager user ID after execution.

- Click the second “getOrgUsers” step to configure “Settings” properties. Provide “getOrgUsers (Report To Me)” as a name. Provide the variable/global that contains the workflow userID from the above step. Select users to type as “Reports To Me.” Provide a variable/global that holds the reportee UserID after execution.

- Save the process definition, create a new process instance, and execute. Render the process instance. Click on the process step. The process step should get the user’s “Manager” and the people “ReportingTo” the user as defined in the FlowWright Organization Structure.
