Update waiting instances functionality allows the user to update/modify the process definition of the executing process instance and continue execution with the updated design.  This functionality will be enabled only when the process instance is in “Sleeping” status. 

Click the “Utils -> Update -> Design” menu item, the following alert message will be displayed. On a successful update, the following alert message will be displayed:
