This feature is used to classify the DMS artifacts.
You need to access the DMS from the left pane.

The DMS page is rendered on a new page, as shown in the example below. Navigate to a DMS folder to view its contents.

Use the “Search” text box to filter the folder list.

Click the ellipsis to open the context menu for this folder. You can navigate to the following options: “Rename, Remove, Check SubFolder, Upload Document, Get URL, View History, Folder Permissions, Default Document Permissions, Archive, and Details.” Select the “Default Document Permissions” option.

The “Manage Default Document Permissions” page is shown in the example below. You need to configure access for users and application roles across all documents in this folder.
- View: Allows the user to view the document in the selected DMS folder.
- Download: Allows the user to download a document from the selected DMS folder.
- Remove: Allows the user to delete a document from the selected DMS folder.
- Update: Allows the user to perform document actions, including check-out, check-in, upload, update, and undo check-out, within the selected DMS folder.
- Archive: Allows the user to archive a document from the selected DMS folder.
- Permission: Allows the user to configure document permissions (View, Download, Remove, Update, and Archive) within the selected DMS folder.

Use the “Search” text box to find users and application roles. Click the “Add” button to include the selection. Select the checkbox to grant or revoke “View, Download, Remove, Update, Archive, and Permission” access. Click “Save Permissions” to confirm. Use the “Remove Permissions” button to remove the access.

Select the DMS Folder, click the ellipsis button, and select the “View History” menu option.

The “View History - Folder” displays the default permission changes the user made.
