This feature is used to make a copy of the document.
You need to access the DMS from the left pane.

The DMS page is rendered on a new page, as shown in the example below. Navigate to a DMS folder to view the documents.

Use the “Search” text box to filter the document list.

Select the document in the table, then click the “Access” icon to view the document’s access information.

The “Access Details” are displayed in a pop-up window, as shown in the example below. Access has been configured for a user and application roles. The ADMIN user has default privileges for “View, Download, Remove, Update, Archive, Permission.” The non-admin (regular user) requires “Update” privilege, which allows the user to perform document actions, including check-out, check-in, upload, update, and undo check-out within the selected DMS folder.

Click the ellipsis to open the context menu for this document. You can access the “Copy, Rename, Remove, Check Out, Get URL, Download, Permissions, View History, View Revisions, Archive, Classifications, and Details” features. Select the “Check Out” menu option.

The document status is changed to “Checked Out,” and a confirmation message is displayed in the top-right corner.

Click the ellipsis to open the context menu for this document and select the “Details” menu option.

The Document Details are displayed in the pop-up window that includes the “name, created on, created by, last updated on, last updated by, file size, revision count, version number, permissions hyperlink, current status, process status, approved revision number, and metadata field count” as shown in the image below.

Click the ellipsis to open the context menu for this document and select the “Get URL” menu option.

The document link is displayed in the pop-up window. Click the “Copy” button to copy the link to the clipboard. Use this link to access and modify the document.

Click the ellipsis to open the context menu for this document, then select the “Check In” option. The document is checked in with the changes, and a confirmation message appears in the top-right corner.

Click the ellipsis to open the context menu for this document, then select the “Undo Checkout” option.

The document’s changes are disregarded, the status reverts to “CheckedIn”, and a confirmation message appears in the top-right corner.

Click the ellipsis to open the context menu for this document and select the “Details” menu option.

The Document Details are displayed in the pop-up window, and the document status is “CheckedIn,” as shown in the image below.

Select the document, click the ellipsis button, then select the “View History” menu option.

The document's history is shown in the image below. As shown, the document's “checkout undone” status is tagged in the message.
