Generic Connections can be managed through the following user interface:
Navigate to the Integration > Connections page.

The Manage Database Connections page is shown below.

Select “Connections” to access the “OAuth, RabbitMQ, FTP, SFTP, and Generic” connections page.

Select the “Generic” option to access the “Manage Generic Connection” page.

Select the “Actions” option to access the “Create, Edit, Remove, and Copy” page.

Select the “Export” option to access the “XML” page.

Select the “Import” option to access the “XML” page.

Create a Generic Connection.
Click Actions > Create.

A pop-up window opens for configuration, as shown below.

Type the Connection name. Select the connection type from the drop-down list. The drop-down list is empty when creating the first connection. Enter the new Test type, then press ENTER to build the list.

Click the plus sign (+) to add parameters. Provide the “name” and “value” in the empty row. You may add multiple parameters using the plus sign. Use the (x) icon to remove the parameters. Click the “Create” button to confirm the configuration.

The generic connection is added to the list, and a confirmation message is displayed in the top-right corner.

Edit a Generic Connection.
Select a generic connection from the list and click Actions > Edit.

A pop-up window is rendered with the values. Modify the values and click the “Update” button to confirm the changes.

A confirmation message is displayed in the top-right corner.

Copy a Generic Connection.
Select a generic connection from the list and click Actions > Copy.

A pop-up window is rendered for configuration. Provide the new connection name. Click the “Copy” button.

The new generic connection is added to the list, and a confirmation message is displayed in the top-right corner.

Remove a Generic Connection.
Select a generic connection from the list and click Actions > Remove.

Click the “Ok” button to confirm.

The generic connection is permanently removed, and a confirmation message is displayed in the top-right corner.

Export a Generic Connection.
Select a generic connection from the list, then click Export > XML. The XML file is generated and downloaded to the local folder.

Import a Generic Connection.
Select a generic connection from the list, then click Import > XML.

Choose the XML file from the local folder and click the “Import” button.

The generic connection XML file is imported (overwriting the selected item in the list), and a confirmation message is displayed in the top-right corner.
