This step simulates a coin toss action and provides a head or tails as result, randomly.

Example:
Let’s build and execute the “coinTossDef” example.
- Create a new definition called “coinTossDef”
- Select the definition and click the “design” button
- Drag a “coinToss” and “setWFStep” to the canvas
- Connect the dots between the Start and the other steps as above.
- Click the “coinToss” step to configure its “Settings” properties. Provide a name to the step.
- Click the first “coinToss” step to configure its “Settings” properties. Provide the State of the Instance as “Heads.”
- Click the second “coinToss” step to configure its “Settings” properties. Provide the State of the Instance as “Tails.”
- The “Logging” setting configuration is necessary for documentation and also measures the workflow progress and the percent complete. This is achieved by configuring the step state and percent fields individually, as shown in the images below. Configure the “Logging” using the following properties.
- Save the process definition. Create a new process instance and execute it. The process step should randomly give you heads or tails.
