Click the “Validate” menu item within the process designer menu, all the variables and globals which are used in the definition and which are not defined will be validated and displayed within the right pane.  Also, any custom step validation messages will be displayed on this pane.

Validate process definition

Users can validate a process definition to see if its valid or not by selecting the definition and clicking on the “Actions->Validate->Selected” menu item. If all the steps and the definition are configured properly then a message “Definition is valid” is displayed, otherwise ”Invalid Definition” is displayed as shown below:

Similarly, all the process definitions displayed within the table can be validated by clicking on the “All” menu item as shown below:
